Entry 59 - The Rainbow Clock

Today, I had the opportunity to visit the small island of Tultu’kan and its famous geyser, The Rainbow Clock. I have heard of its beauty and precise timing and I was eager to witness it myself. I arrived in the village of Intok'wa and was immediately struck by the beauty of the area. The village sits on the edge of a field of mineral pools and small geysers, and the steam from the geysers rises into the air, creating a misty haze that covers the area.

As I approached The Rainbow Clock, I could see the plume of steam rising into the sky, and I was amazed by its height. The geyser shoots up a plume over 50 meters into the air every hour on the hour, down to the minute. I made my way to the Eastern watchtower and as I reached the top, I was greeted with a breathtaking sight. The Rainbow Clock had just erupted, and the steam created a rainbow that lasted for a couple of minutes. It was a truly remarkable sight and one that I will never forget. The villagers of Intok'wa take great pride in The Rainbow Clock and its precise timing. They have been keeping track of its eruptions for generations, and they believe that it holds great spiritual significance.
