Weather

This spell allows you to detect and manipulate the local weather.  You can change the temperature, humidity, wind, and weather patterns around you.  Normally this is used to decrease or increase existing weather conditions, making them weaker or stronger using the Force modifier.  The current strength of a weather pattern (such as winds or freezing temperature) is defined by the challenge rank created by the conditions for making various skill checks.  If you want to change the challenge rank of the weather then you must spend +2 Spirit for each rank of difference in rank between current conditions and what you want them to be.

You can also direct existing winds, concentrating them in ways similar to the Wind spell for defense and attack.  If the current weather includes lightning, or you have intensified a storm to generate it, then you can direct it as an attack on targets provided both the source of the lightning and the target are within the Range modification you include in the spell.  Note that the only distance that matters is horizontal, this spell can reach up into the sky as far as needed to produce its effects.

This spell costs 2 Spirit to cast.
