Plants, molds, and fungi are under your control with this spell.  Your magic can make them sprout, flower, grow rapidly, sense things through them, and even temporarily animate them.  This magic can also affect plant-based creatures and beings, although any unwilling creature will get a Resist check.  The usual Scale modifier is used when using plants to attack or affect a target of a certain size.

Plants that sprout, flower, or grow are left in their new state permanently after the spell ends.  Plants that are temporarily animated or modified return to their normal state when the spell ends.


This spell costs 1 Spirit to cast.

Basic Casting

You cause one seed to sprout, a small plant to flower, or seedling to grow to its normal size.

Baso Bonoak

You cause the roots of nearby trees and bushes to shoot up and wrap around a target the size of a horse.  Target must be within 10m and is Bound for up to 1 hour.

Hutan Tombak

Across an area 100m by 100m roots and saplings grow rapidly and shoot up out of the ground and start attacking all creatures in the area.  Each attack is treated as a melee attack using your Scrivening and Magic ranks.  If an attack hits it inflicts 1d8 damage.  Attacks will last as long as you continue to concentrate.
