Sense

This spell can be used to enhance or change one or more of your senses.  You can make them stronger, more sensitive, or alter the way they function.  Any increase in the Intensity modifier creates a bonus to any Awareness checks based around the senses being improved.  Improving multiple senses requires increasing the Force modifier, but doing so still caps out at a +5 bonus.

You can use this spell to allow you to sense things in innovative ways, such as changing your sense of smell to be able to “smell” active spells, or “see” sounds as waves of color.  You could even add a new sense, such as the ability to detect valuable metals.

 

This spell costs 1 Spirit to cast.

Basic Casting

You gain a +1 bonus to Awareness checks for 1 round.

Albasar Alnaar

You alter your vision to see in the infrared spectrum for 1 hour.  The spell allows you to see heat signatures, making it possible to detect warm objects, bodies, or sources of heat in the environment.

Inu No Hana

This spell causes a target to gain a heightened sense of smell, similar to that of a dog's for 1 day. They will be able to detect scents and odors that would normally be imperceptible to humans, such as tracking scents over long distances, detecting the presence of specific individuals or animals, or identifying different types of food.  Any Awareness checks involving smell are +4.
